In a continued celebration of the adidas Mutombo 20th anniversary, adidas Originals will be releasing a blue and white colorway of the signature shoe.
The Mutombo signature basketball shoe was originally released by adidas during the 1992-93 NBA Season. This blue and white silhouette pays homage to the original colorway from Dikembe Mutombo’s days as a Denver Nugget. The upper white leather is accented nicely by the royal blue details throughout the sneaker. The famous Congo inspired “55″ shield is present on the cloth of the tongue. Look out for the adidas Mutombo Blue/White sneakers, set to release at select adidas Originals retailers on March 1st.
